history question
- I was having a discussion with two students in my regular American history class who posted about MLK. Today he is a revered figure across the political spectrum and only the most deplorable and openly racist person would denounce him. But he was attacked mercilessly at the time NOT just by deplorable racists but many of the same (types of) people who revere him today. Why?
