Sonia’s dad came to school to pick up Sonia today due to her having a fever of 101.5. He travels a lot for work so this is the first time any of you have seen him. Dad appears to be from a Middle Eastern country. He speak with a very thick accent. Sonia was playing by her friends in the dramatic play area. The children were taking turns “eating” the food. They would laugh after each person had a “bite” of food. You noticed which toys would have to be cleaned as soon as the child put it down. Sonia did not want to go with Dad. She hit him and ran away when he tired to put her coat on her. Dad looked at you and issued what he should do.
