INSIDE INFO ON MY EXPERIENCE:
During the first week was very informative. I had no interaction with clients but focused on the workplace. Was introduced to all the counselors and their specialty.
The Practicum site is Helen’s Haven Advocacy center and provides counseling to abuse and neglect children.
It was very informative, read about rules and regulations, protocol and the staff that works there. Also spend time with an outside source that provides additional resources to the community.
