1000 word response paper
You are to write a 1000 word response paper which is no less than two full pages including references. First, provide a comprehensive definition of poverty.Second, in a well integrated, well thought out and well articulated manner, discuss the adverse effects of poverty on an individuals’ well-being. What does the research or the data show about children raised in poor families with respect to their cognitive development, achievement, emotional well-being, psychological well being, etc. Finally, discuss some of the economic and political consequences of poverty. Write your paper and submit it as an attachment in word documented format.

Books, journal articles, book chapters, etc. You may use J-stor in Galileo or you may go to the library in person. I NOT want to see any encyclopedic stuff.
