Relate the PBL approach to the Florida Core Competencies for Afterschool Practitioners (there are 10 core knowledge areas). Discuss the knowledge and skills that practitioners need in order to work with youth and their families while using a PBL approach.
What is your opinion of the Philadelphia programs in the video? Thinking back to the program that you visited, do you think a similar type of PBL could be implemented there? If the program already utilizes PBL then explain how. If not, how do you see PBL being incorporated into that program?
