Week 7 Discussion
Prompt: According to Chapter 16 of American Government, why is the idea of public policy a politically contentious one? What is the modern liberal and modern conservative positions on public policy? Which one do you tend to support and why? Finally, regardless of your individual beliefs, how do you think the government can protect its most vulnerable citizens without placing an undue burden on others?
