Week 6 Discussion
While over the years the zombie has seem many changes in its form, it has always, at its undead heart, represented the loss of free will. Having watched either White Zombie (1932) or I Walked with a Zombie (1943) and Night of the Living Dead (1968) taking the historical perspective discuss how each of these films address the American concerns regarding free will vs. determinism and how, and if, those concerns have changed over time.
