Ethics and Personal Values:
In Mindtap watch the “Theo Ethics Video” which is about a chocolate company committed to maintaining high ethical standards in fair trade and upholding personal values with their employees. Please discuss the following:
The mission of the Theo Chocolate Company is “Doing Good While Doing Well” – take a deeper look at their website (https://www.theochocolate.com/blog/our-story/) and explain what this means and the challenge companies in our economy may have with fulfilling such a mission statement.
Find examples of other companies that are considered ethical (provide a website link) and share what makes them ethical according to our textbook and if you would want to work in that environment – what are the advantages/disadvantages?
