  • The Core Values of American government are made up of four items. You are assigned as a tutor to help a student understand the basic elements of his or her Political Process class. Please identify them and briefly explain what they mean, in addition to giving real life examples. In your opinion, how do you see these beliefs in today’s society?
  • In your opinion, what are the most important part(s) to the Constitution? Identify them and briefly explain how the Constitution addresses the core values through your favorite part. If you were at a social gathering and had a conversation with a young voter, how would you describe your position to them? Give examples that illustrate your point.
  • What is the difference between Federalism and State’s Rights, and how are these issues addressed by the Constitution? How are these issues relevant today? What examples are in the news that relate to this issue?
  • Why is it important for procedural due process? What are the important elements of this area in the Constitution, including the rights of persons accused of crimes? Back these up with examples. Do not forget your opinion.
