For this assignment, you will need to find at least one credible source for your research paper. I recommend you simply use one of the pre-approved news sources listed on the “Researching Credible Sources” handout. Once you have found a current and credible source, you will need to type up an MLA-formatted document that includes the following:

1) An MLA Works Cited entry for your source. Please review the “Quoting Sources Using MLA” packet in Week 4 for directions on what it should look like.

2) A paragraph summarizing your article. Avoid plagiarism and opinions. Underline at least two templates from They Say/I Say.

3) A paragraph including your analysis/opinion of the article’s claims. Feel free to incorporate a quote from the article. Underline at least two templates from They Say/I Say.

*Your assignment should be 250-500 words total. Include a word count in the 5th line of the heading.
