Research the Internet, newspapers, magazines and journals to find One recent incidents that had a denial of service attack that had potential accounting or financial implications for the companies experiencing these events. 

In your White Paper provide a general overview of the incidents, including necessary background information.  Describe how the outages or service attacks occurred and their effect on the businesses (how long service was affected, potential accounting and finance implications, etc.).  Describe in your report the controls that would have prevented, detected or corrected the outages or attacks. 

Include in your discussion a section that compares and contrasts the THREE incidents in order to identify the common themes and over-arching concepts.

The report should be 10-12 double-spaced pages.  Prepare your report in MS Word with 1-inch margins on all sides, double-spaced and 12 pt. Times New Roman font.  Employ APA style and proper citation methods.  Use Turnitin.com to check you work in advance as described in the Group Project Instructions. 

You are encouraged to use visuals (pictures, graphs, spreadsheets, flowcharts) to support your narrative.  They must be integrated into the document, as would be expected in a formal business report.
