Research Paper
Your research paper should be at least 1,000 words, including a works cited page. You must use and cite at least 2 scholarly sources.
You will need at least two scholarly sources for the research paper (you can tell they are scholarly by the graduation cap next to the title of the article) Wikipedia and Spark Notes are not scholarly sources.
Possible paper topics:
Romantic Love as depicted in the poetry of Shakespeare, Marvell, and Donne
WWI’s influence on “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock”
The New England countryside’s influence on the poetry of Robert Frost
Remember, this is not a report, not just a recitation of facts. You must have a claim that you seek to prove using primary sources (lines from the poems) and secondary sources (the scholarly articles).
