The purpose of this forum is to discuss your reading of the first of our required textbooks. It is a fairly fascinating read, though densely packed with information, theories, and examples. It should only take you a week to read it, but I am feeling generous, so by all means, take two weeks if you need it. To display your assimilation of the ideas and your absorption of the content, you will need to discuss your struggle and discovery, your realizations and quandaries in light of this intriguing but powerful text. What resonates with you? What repels you? Which of the phenomena described captivate you? Do you have some areas of critique? What doesn’t ring true?
