Company Research Report (instructions in detail for your understanding)

The Situation

Write a brief, research-based report in which you research two organizations, explain your findings, and make a related recommendation to an appropriate audience.

This assignment involves doing research and gathering information about companies you might want to attend. For this research report assignment, you must research two target organizations.

The Research: Getting Ready

The first thing you’ll do is complete the questionnaire about the two companies. Use any means at your disposal to get all of the questions answered –the company’s website, an email or brief telephone interview with someone in the company, etc. (already done for you and attached)

The Written Report

Write a short report in memo format (format is attached). You must ensure that you provide enough information so that we have the facts to understand the type of organization that you are targeting and how they might be relevant to you and to your particular audience.

Cite all of your sources for information properly; use in-text citations in the report and full references on a separate reference page. Use APA or MLA format to cite your sources correctly.

The Format

Use a memo format. The length should be about 3 single-spaced pages.
