Public policy essay
Part 1: Write 1-3 paragraphs defining what you feel poverty is.
Part 2. Take the definition in Part 1 and come up with a mechanism that you can give to the gov’t so they can hire people and gather data to count the number of poor people.
Part 3. Come up with a program (or set of programs) to help the poor. (You do not need to help all the poor if you do not want to — I assume everyone will want to help some types of people but if not I guess you should write an essay on the problems with this approach)
Part 4. What are the problems with your program in Part 3?
