Start the sentence with: The problem is….. 2) Measurable AIM Statement: AIM Statement must include, what, where, and by how much. 3) Timeline and Budget: Build a specific timeline for your budget. What is going to happen on what date? The timeline must include dates of when you are going to do the steps of your project. The budget must include dollar amounts of what the PI process will cost to complete. This includes personnel, materials, and educational sessions if applicable. Every project will have a budget. 4) Analyze the Problem: Build a literature review chart that must contain five (5) peer-reviewed articles on your topic dated in the last five years. Peer-reviewed articles should be about research that covers your nursing problem. Blogs, editorials, and commentaries are not research articles. Do not use research articles written in a foreign country as they use a different method of research and the articles will not fit into the literature table that is provided for you. Use the literature review template in the content section and place this completed template on a slide in your presentation. 5) APA format: Follows all APA guidelines and includes an audio or narration for each slide. 1)Title page: Formatted in APA & Work setting (Do not use the name of facility) & Problem statement – Title page is complete. Develop a flowchart to demonstrate the new process/intervention for your nursing problem. 3) Teaching; Describe how you plan to teach the staff your new intervention. Will you use a checklist, competency, educational session or all of these? Place a small portion of the checklist, test, or an outline of the educational session in your slides. 4) Measurement: What is the measurement tool that you are going to use to measure the effectiveness of your intervention? Is it a checklist, test or something else? Describe how you plan to measure the proposed data using charts and diagrams. If you have data from your facility, place the data in the tables. If you do not have data, place data in the chart and state that this is an example of how the data will look. A measurement tool must be used on your slides.
