Presentation
Create a PowerPoint presentation that you would present to families at an open house highlighting 5 different topics that are included in Ch. 1-6. For example your topics could include 5 of these suggestions; Injury Prevention, SIDS, Oral Health, Family Involvement, Vision Screenings, Speech and Language Assessments, Health records, Preventing the spread of disease, Hand washing, When to keep your child home, or immunizations. It may take more than one slide to cover each topic. Your presentation should contain at least 7-10 slides. A title slide, 1-2 slides for each topic, and a reference slide that includes the sources for all of your citations. Your PowerPoint should include the policies you want to share with the parents on each of these topics, and a visual/picture on each slide. In the note section below each slide, not on the actual slide, you will create notes for yourself that include more detail than what is on the slide. These are the things you actually are going to want to say to the parents at your presentation. You will also contain citations from the text that support your statements.. Please also include a Word document answering the following questions: Why did you chose your topics? Why do you feel it is important for parents to have that information?
