Compass Health is the region’s largest private, non-profit non-existing organization providing mental health services in imaginary counties of Central Florida. We provide quality mental health services to adults impacted by chronic psychiatric disorders.
WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Psychiatric Technician- Adult Inpatient (multiple positions available)
Program: Evaluation & Treatment Facility
Location: Compass Fictional Hospital, Orlando
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday-Friday)
Wage: $20.00 – $27.12 per hour
POSITION SUMMARY
Our 24 hour inpatient psychiatric E&T facility in Orlando is currently hiring Psychiatric Technicians. As a part of a multidisciplinary treatment team, our Psych Tech will provide a combination of social, physical, psychological, vocational, and recreational services to strengthen and enhance the capability of psychiatrically impaired persons and enable these persons to function with greater independence.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma required. Bachelors or AA Degree preferred.
- Current First Aid & CPR certification and Food Handlers permit, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Knowledge of counseling, rehabilitation, training, and treatment services provided to psychiatrically impaired adults.
- Ability to relate effectively with patients, agency staff, other community programs, and the general public.
- Ability to maintain a positive, solution-focused demeanor when responding to conflicts or problems.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- General computer proficiency, including the ability to utilize electronic medical record systems.
- Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background check.
