Choose two age ranges that you want to observe for your observation project. Choose which type of development you want to observe: physical development, cognitive development, or socio-emotional development. Also discuss where you plan to go to conduct your observations – a park or local parks and recreation/YMCA type of facility, a public restaurant with a play area such as Chick-Fil-A or McDonalds, a mall play area, an after school program, or inside a school. Make sure that you indicate that the age range you have chosen can be observed in those places.
