Using your Double Entry Notebooks you need to integrate your evidence (left side of notebook) with your analysis (right side of notebook) using at least three of the ways discussed in Chapter 4
- Sandwiching (creating a sandwich with bread–think Art of Quoting that we discusses. This is how Ballenger indicated one fixes a “breadless sandwich”)
- Grafting
- Billboarding
- Splicing
The idea here is to choose 3 of your notes from your Double Entry Notebook and use three of the ways to integrate source material lifted above–one strategy with each of the notes you select.
