The paper should address each of the following:

1. Correct paper length (3-4 pages) (5 points)

2. What was the name of your movie, and what year was it set in? What genre was the movie (comedy, drama, science fiction, etc.)? Include a brief summary of the plot in 1 – 2 paragraphs. (5 points)

3. Regarding the main characters who are in late adulthood: What gender and ethnicity are each of them? Are they portrayed stereotypically in terms of their age, for example, as having dementia or as being wise? (5 points)

4. Are issues of death and dying dealt with? If so, how? (5 points)

5. Describe the movie in regards to each of the theoretical orientations:

Psychoanalytical (5 points) –Where are each of the main late adulthood characters in terms of Erikson’s stages? How do you know?

Behavioral (5 points) – How well does behaviorism explain the late adulthood characters’ behavior? Explain and provide specific examples, using behavioral terminology.

Cognitive (5 points) – Is there any evidence of cognitive declines among main characters who are in late adulthood? Are there any changes due to age in either fluid or crystallized intelligence shown?

Humanistic (5 points) – Where are each of the late adulthood characters in terms of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs? How can you tell?
