Ideal Career would be Accounting

Research your ideal career and identify the required education, skills, work conditions, and employment trends, using the Occupational Outlook Handbook (OOH) and O*NET. You may also use information from the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration’s mySkills myFuture web page to help you identify your skill sets.

Write a 500-word (12-point font, double-spaced) paper about the experience, education, and skills required for your job or career goal, based on your research findings and your career and self-assessment results. The job-analysis summary should include

  • a clear identification of your chosen career
  • a description of the career, including salary and skill requirements, and occupational forecasting
  • what actions you need to take to enter the field (i.e., education, training, experience)
  • information about why you are interested in this career (include your results from the career and self-assessment assignment)
  • skills you currently possess
  • a plan for entering this field (i.e., obtaining necessary skills, training, etc.)

Part 1: Provide an analysis of your research, using the aforementioned criteria.

Part 2: Use the following matrix to add the areas you feel are currently your strengths or areas of accomplishment, and the areas you feel you may need to work on toward achieving your goal. You must complete all areas of the matrix to receive full credit.
