Essay Topic for week 10: What happened at Auschwitz-Birkenau during 1941-1945? Based on the article and the overall general knowledge; approximately, how many camps were there in occupied Europe and what was their purpose? Based on what you’ve read; did the allies: British and Americans know of Auschwitz during the war? Why do you think the Allies have done so little about disrupting, halting, or destroying these type of camps? In what country is the Auschwitz Birkenau camp located? Why there? What was the logic?
