In 5 pages please discuss addiction from a psychodynamic perspective, as you understand that perspective at this point. Because psychoanalysis aims to re-contextualize painful experience through both narrative and affective expression the process is necessarily a creative one. Please feel free to be creative and expressive as your mind allows for. Because this material is painful and potentially triggering it is important to use theory as a means of grounding and guiding the way forward.
