Great Ideas in Western Music
Search YouTube and choose two pieces of music that correspond to the module’s topic, as listed above. One of the pieces must relate directly to the Western music tradition (art music/popular/folk) and the other piece may or may not relate to this tradition (does not have to originate from Western Europe or the United States). The choice is up to you, but you may not use pieces discussed as examples in a module or that are LGs. You may use new pieces by composers discussed in class. By the end of the course you will have chosen 6 pieces in total (3 modules x 2 YouTube pieces per module).
Except Western music, other piece I hope you choose the eastern music.
