gender and sexuality
Choose any TWO readings up until this point (chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and/or pdf. readings) and compare (similarities) and contrast (differences) how sex/gender identity and/or roles or sex/gender and sexuality are expressed in the two cultures. For example, you can choose “One of the Guys” and “Liminal Gender Roles in Polynesia” (chapter 4), compare gender identities in the two cultures and how the identity (or identities) are constructed within each cultural context.
