Executive Orders
Throughout the Obama administration, it may appear that many of the laws that he has tried to get passed have not come to fruition. Accordingly, President Obama has had to invoke his right to use the executive order. In the past, U.S. presidents have issued executive orders to help officers and agencies of the executive branch manage the operations within the federal government, but there are limitations to the use and effectiveness of the executive order.
To prepare for this assignment, select an executive rule or order given by a U.S. president during the time period of 2000–2015.
With these thoughts in mind:
Provide an explanation of how the executive order you selected has or will impact a person’s constitutional rights.
