The first White House website was developed in 1994 for the Clinton administration. Visit the following link at the National Archives and Clinton Presidential Library http://clinton.archives.gov/.

Click on “original White House websites” and spend a few moments looking over the snapshots of the first few White House websites. What are some of the important issues of the day? How are these communicated?

Then spend a few minutes and review the current White House website at http://www.whitehouse.gov/. Reflect on the similarities and differences you see in the two sites.
