Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others. 

Applying to US IVY league schools and I really need to stand out from the rest of the applicants. I applied last year to the IVY league schools but in late March I found that I was rejected. I do not know why? I can share my essay with you. I will upload it. I think the problem with it was the fact that I talked a lot about mathematics. There was nothing so extraoridnary. I want to study mathematics in US. i do not know if it is a good idea to reflect the passion for mathematics that I have in my Common app essay. The common app essay is the most important one. So I really need your help.
