General Instructions: FORMATING • Three-page minimum. Plus your title and bibliography pages, for a total of at least 7 pages. • The title page should have your name and chosen topic. • The paper must be single spaced in 12-point font. • Use APA formatting for your sources. • Use paragraphs, headers, and subheaders to separate your different points, thoughts, and ideas. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS • Use and discuss at least 5 sources. Just citing a source in the bibliography does not count. You must discuss the source in the paper. Try not to use direct quotes from your sources. Instead, take their thoughts and put them in your own words. Do not use the textbook as a source on this project, but you can use blogs, articles, stats, business magazines, Ted talks, etc. Try to stay away from strictly academic papers. instead, look to industry leaders and business-focused publications. • Write in the first person (giving us your perspective and point of view) • No blanket statements. Back up your ideas with a sound argument. • Though this is a “research” paper, I do not want to just hear about the research. The point is to use your research to form and communicate your own thoughts and ideas. This paper should show your ability to come up with your own unique perspective and not just tell us what others say. You will be graded the heaviest on the creativity, and originality of the paper along with your ability to analyze info and provide your own perspective.
