For the term paper, you choose one of the genres we’ve covered, and pick a film not screened in class, to analyze. After introducing vital information about the film (director, year of release, stars, basic plot and genre elements), your paper should focus on a few key scenes from the film, providing details of film style, narrative and themes. You should also make some comparisons to the films screened and studied in class; and utilize some of the concepts from the relevant chapter. In your conclusion, offer some comments on how the film reflects any social/political issues of the time period of its release.
